Thank you. I am enrolled with the Yanktonai Hunkpati Dakota nation here in Crow Creek, South Dakota. We do not claim Kiesha Crowther as one of us. She has no right to speak on our behalf. We do not need an apology, we just want her to stop appropriating our culture.

Beautiful Ruth...yes, Water! Our first ancestors came out of it, we need to drink it, water what we eat with it, and we're wasting it and polluting it! Please keep being The Messenger! With thanks and love, Alex

That is why we have the bitter sweet at Passover.
Just thinking about the holiday which is soon approaching.
By the way tigerlilly is in the title of the mystery I just picked up by Ruth Rendell.

Something I wrote awhile ago, but like most things expressed by others as well:
"It is not generally the wisdom of the poem but the power of its language, of the verse, of the sound, produced by a mind which had difficulty in expressing that which cannot really be described, that makes the poem art. We must allow ourselves to be, in the terms of C. S. Lewis, manipulated by the poet's rhetoric, by the intensity of feeling displayed by the poetic structure."
That is why, I think, we can be so moved by song, by sonnet, to experience the pitch and roll of our frail vessels voyaging through life's oceans and seas, rivers and lakes, ponds and streams.

Having a wonderful time.
Visited Pablo Neruda´s house at Isla Negra and it is definitely one of the highlights of the trip so far.
We joined the Chileans on the local bus going to their summer cottages by the ocean, and ended up walking down this isolated dirt path to his home. It was picture card perfect and located on a hill overlooking the aquarmarine waves crashing against the craggy shore and turning the rocks dark black just like the name of his house. The sand was almost white and their were beautiful sandy grey rocks that looked like anthropomorphic creatures and this face hewn in rock overlooking the ocean. You would have loved his house. The rooms are shaped like cabins on a boat and incorporate tables, bars, side tables and wardrobes taken from ships. He had such eccletic taste and collected shells, butterflies, beetles, and many colored glasses in different shapes because he believed that drinking from coloured glasses makes you happy. He had taken these massive helm heads from ships and placed them in his rooms and even purchased this huge horse that he had seen in his home town as a child twenty years later. He had this head of Medusa which reminded him of his wife because he said Matilde´´s hair was alwasy unruly.
Chilean food is wonderfully delectable and enjoying the local wines.
Tommorrow is our last day in Chile and we will visit the changing of the guard at the government buildings and then the Biblioteca Nationale.
We also will go to this craft area set up like a pueblo with local artisans at the end of the day.
Just heard that there was an earthquake at Conception in Chile today but fortunately everything is fine here.
LOVE
NANCY
